Hay Sales -low carb hay 🌾 Dressage prospects CSHA horses and ponies🦄 Sustainable farm 🌳
  • And just like that, hay season 2026 is officially underway! 🌾

Our first round bale of the year is tied up and sitting pretty in the field. Green, dry, and exactly the kind of start we were hoping for.

There are still plenty of acres to go and lots of weather forecasts to obsess over, but today we’re celebrating the first bale!🚜

  • Oren and Lily are the cutest siblings 💗 It was love at first sight for them and every time they have a chance to visit they immediately begin grooming each other. #foxfieldfarm #dejadorstallion #younghorses
  • Fox Field Brewed Awakening has officially started under saddle and we couldn’t be happier with how this special young horse is developing with @buxtonequestrian

This 2023 sport horse gelding by Golden State NRW out of Quiet Cove is showing all the qualities we hoped for. He has a kind brain, natural balance, and an exciting future ahead.

“Roger” is available for a rider looking for a quality young prospect to develop for the future. ✨

  • Friday night on the farm 🚜
  • Leonard was very proud of himself on our trail walk after discovering what he considered the world’s tastiest bone hidden along the path. Safe to say the rest of the walk was spent carrying his “treasure” with maximum determination and zero intention of sharing. 🐾🦴
  • Spring fertilizer application day 🌱

This is easily our biggest expense of the season and one of the most important. Everything we do with hay starts here. We’re at the mercy of the weather to get it on at the right time, and it plays a huge role in whether we can produce hay we’re truly proud of.

This year, it stings a little more. Rising costs tied to political instability have driven up both fertilizer prices and the cost of running the equipment to apply it. There’s no cutting corners on this step, but it’s definitely felt.

It’s an investment in the fields, in the animals that rely on this feed, and in the quality we aim to deliver year after year. Here’s hoping the weather cooperates from here on out 🤞🌾

  • We planted oats for the first time this past weekend as a ground cover 🌱

The goal is to cut it for goat hay… but if it doesn’t quite get there, the goats will still be winning with some extra tasty straw this winter 🐐

#farmlife #foxfieldfarm #goatlife #sustainablefarming #covercrops
  • Cinnamon’s little doelings are growing fast and will be ready for their new homes at the end of May 🐐💛

For now, we’re soaking up every bit of their playful energy. It’s hard not to fall a little in love with each one.

If you’ve been thinking about adding goats to your herd, these girls are going to be something special ✨

  • Pre-orders are now officially sold out for our 2026 hay. Thank you all so much for the incredible support 💚

If you missed out, don’t worry yet. Our waitlist is now open. If we have extra hay available (weather permitting 🤞), we’ll be offering it to waitlist clients first, in order.

Our 4’ x 4.5’ hard core round bales of meadow hay (a balanced mix of grasses and legumes) will be available at 2026 pricing, with pickup at the farm and limited delivery options.

We’re so grateful for to continue on to the growing season ahead and truly appreciate everyone who trusts us to feed their animals. Now we just need the sunshine ☀️🌾
